Call for Artists!
Gato Gordo Gallery invites local, national, and international artists to participate in a special exhibition in honor of Black History Month, taking place in February 2025 at our gallery in Miami.
We are looking for works that celebrate, reflect, and explore the stories, experiences, and contributions of the Black community. Submissions are welcome in painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, or digital media.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Theme: Black History Month (history, culture, identity, and resilience).
Deadline to apply: January 8.
Submit: up to 3 entries for $35
Exhibition dates: From January 24, 2025 to February 27, 2025.
Maximum size of artwork: 46 inches wide

ABOUT GATO GORDO GALLERY
We are a Miami-based art gallery dedicated to promoting artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. We combine figurative and contemporary works, showcasing both established and up-and-coming talent. The Gato Gordo Gallery is committed to exhibiting a diverse range of media, including photography, painting, sculpture, and digital art. The main goal of the gallery is giving opportunity to artists who want to show their work in Miami and promoting their work with great dedication and success.

COMMISSIONS, SALES, LIABILITY
All artwork must be for sale. Gato Gordo Gallery will retain a 40% commission on all exhibition sales. Artists whose artwork is sold during the exhibit will be notified. Artwork must stay on display until close of exhibit.
Although reasonable care will be given to handling all works, the gallery will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
